The library was built in 2010 as part of the Building Education Revolution. It is located in the centre of the school and is the hub of the school, constantly hosting activities and events for the school community.
Primary classes visit the Library once a week for book exchange using a Library bag to protect books that they borrow. It currently houses a class set of computers so that the primary classes can engage in Computer Literacy lessons weekly.
The Scholastic Book Fair is held twice yearly. This is extremely popular amongst our students, often raising more than $700 for books to go into the Library. Literacy & Numeracy Week is busy with students actively participating in many activities in the Library. During Book Week a visiting author spends time with each class sharing writing and drawing secrets and exciting our students about books. Often a piece of art is generated during the author visits and these can be seen around town and hanging on the walls of our school.
The Library is always popular at lunchtime with many of our students participating in fun board games and book reading.
